Last month, I was lucky enough to travel cross country with an old college friend of mine. She was moving to California(so jealous) from FL and needed a travel buddy. I was on my way to San Diego already to photograph a pretty amazing couple’s wedding, so I happily said YES! Our road trip started off with some crazy/scary storms, but all in all, it was a great trip! I was so happy to make a stop in Austin, it’s one of my favorite cities, probably one of the few places I could see myself living. We stopped to see my cousin Marianne, we ate pizza(like we always do), talked, and her hubby made me a mean cup of coffee…pretty much my heaven. We had to leave pretty early the next morning, but before I left, Marianne made me a delicious breakfast and I happily took some photos of her and her baby boy, Phoenix. Taking photos of a mom and her baby is probably one of my favorite things to do. We got ready, Phoenix picked out his cool outfit, then we headed off for a walk in the perfect Texas weather. It was so great to see you guys, let me know when your house is available to rent 😉 Can’t wait for next time! Love ya!
