The day had finally come, my best friend had a baby…weird. I had gone to Chicago a couple weeks before Jill had her baby girl, Hadley. I remember as I was leaving she said, “the next time you see me, i’ll be a mom”. Hearing her say that after all we’ve been through was nuts. We were best friends in High School, roommates in college, after graduating we were off to Chicago and lived together there until she ditched me for her amazing husband, Josh. I was so happy I was able to spend time with her before the baby, and could not WAIT to meet her new bundle of joy for newborn photos. This time, the first thing she said when I walked in was, “welcome to my new life”, oh and there was a baby screaming her head off in the background, haha. Babies are my favorite, especially newborns. I had a new found love for them after my nephew was born, and this shoot also hit that sweet spot and made my baby fever even worse. Although it’s weird to see my friend with a newborn, talking baby talk to her, it is the most beautiful thing ever. Jill and Josh are such great parents, and I know Hadley is going to have them wrapped around her finger. I am so thankful that I get to be a part of this for them, and they can look back and remember such a huge and important time in their lives. I also can’t wait to see her little personality start to shine through in the next couple months. I love you 3 and am so proud of you!!! xoxo
